Quality Policy of the Academic Unit for the Development and Improvement of the MSc in &#8220;Law and ICT&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.1 General Principles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Quality Assurance Policy of the Department of Digital Systems is fully aligned with the quality policy of the University of Piraeus and reflects the institution&#8217;s core values. The Department ensures and enhances the quality of its teaching, research, and administrative activities, aiming for continuous improvement through the active participation and contribution of all its members.<\/p>\n<p>The Department organizes and implements postgraduate programs of high standards in the fields of Informatics and Telecommunications, as well as interdisciplinary and cutting-edge areas, thus strengthening its academic identity, research effectiveness, and connection to labor market needs.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Department is committed to fostering a creative environment of research, innovation, and employment for its academic, research, and administrative staff, and a supportive academic environment for its students. Quality is recognized as a fundamental element for realizing the Department&#8217;s vision and achieving its mission, making the creation of a quality culture essential.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the Department of Digital Systems and the MSc in &#8220;Law and ICT&#8221; are committed to applying a quality policy that promotes academic excellence while aligning with the program&#8217;s objectives. This policy ensures the participation of all stakeholders in implementing strategic goals through clearly defined actions and means, applying appropriate internal and external quality procedures for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Department fosters communication and collaboration within the academic community, including faculty members, researchers, students, administrative staff, and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.2 Quality Assurance Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Department of Digital Systems and the MSc in &#8220;Law and ICT&#8221; implement quality assurance procedures as outlined by the Internal Quality Assurance System of the university, with necessary adjustments for second-cycle programs.
